Meet our PASS Representative!

Salutations, Cougars! My name is Ms. Maria and I am the new PASS AmeriCorps representative.  I am thrilled and honored to be here and hope to make it a fantastic year. To share a bit about myself, I recently graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Latin American Studies. I enjoy helping others because my parents taught me to have compassion and never turn a blind eye to those who are in need. Therefore, when I was in college, I took care of children whose parents couldn’t afford child care and where my love to help kids began. I am excited and eager to help every young padawan with any academic difficulties they may face or with Darth Vader. May the force be with Cesar Chavez Middle School. I am confident this school year will be fantastic!
