We believe that digital citizenship skills have become essential for students in the 21st century.  We are committed to teaching students how to think critically, behave safely, and participate responsibly. Our school recently earned the honor of being recognized as a Common Sense Certified School in Digital Citizenship. This honor recognizes a school’s efforts in teaching digital literacy and citizenship to young people. This recognition is provided by Common Sense Education, part of a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing trustworthy information and education to kids and families.

We are one of more than 100,000 schools across the country to use Common Sense’s educational resources. As a result, our students will be better equipped to navigate the digital world and safely harness the positive power of technology. Our goal is for students to be aware of the benefits of technology and also to understand its risks. This is supported by our digital philosophy of “respect self, others, and intellectual property”.
